Delegating with Confidence: Training and Supervising RBTs to Support Assessments

Behavior identification supporting assessment (CPT 97152) lets RBTs extend a BCBA's assessment capacity — but only when delegation, training, and documentation are done right. This course equips supervising BCBAs to structure RBT-supported assessment activities within scope of practice, from preference assessments and skill probes to ABC data collection. Participants will learn to build defensible supervision and documentation workflows that withstand payer audits, distinguish 97152 from adjacent codes, and account for state and payer variability.
