It’s been a little bit since I did her part one so she may have mentioned it then, but I do think it’s important to go over the brain states and what’s happening (survival mode) & discuss tolerance/threshold (cup metaphor being very helpful) and what happens when someone is in a constant state of burnout (cup constantly overflowing past threshold). I think it would have been useful to give more emphasis to how a lot of people with autism that have this are often high masking (and how that affects them both in an academic setting, public setting, or during a brief assessment). ”
