Host a PD event for RBTs

From your dashboard, click New Event. If PD hosting is enabled for your organization, you will see a choice for who earns credit at this event.

Pick RBT instead of BCBA / BCaBA. This event will award PDUs, a flat professional development total with no Ethics or Supervision categories.

A PD event requires the instructor to hold an active BCaBA, BCBA, or BCBA-D credential. Enter it when you create the event. This is checked before the event can publish.

A PD event can be either one. Pick “Host live” or “Upload a recording” on the first card of the create form, exactly as you would for a CEU event — the audience choice above no longer decides it for you. Then follow Create a live event or Create a recorded course for the rest of the setup.

Live RBT PD events work the same way live CEU events do: attendance codes during the broadcast, and the PDU form issued automatically to everyone who answers enough of them. If you also publish the recording, someone who missed the broadcast can still earn their PDUs through the make-up quiz.

Attendees of a PD event receive the official BACB PDU form instead of a standard CEU certificate. This generates automatically the same way a CEU certificate does — when a live attendee clears the attendance codes, or when an on-demand learner passes the quiz. The form records the way that learner earned it: “Online synchronous” for a live attendee, “Online asynchronous” for someone who watched the recording.
