Live day

Go live

Once you and your speakers are ready in the green room, going live takes one click.

1

You're already connected

By the time you are in the green room, you and any speakers are already connected. Your camera and mic are already publishing to the room. Going live does not reconnect anyone. It just starts the broadcast.

2

Click Go Live

Click the red Go Livebutton. Only you, the host, see this button. It shows "Connecting..." for a moment while the stream starts.

3

Watch your live status

Once live, a red LIVE badge appears. A running timer shows how long you have been live. You also see a live viewer count next to it.

4

Know about the short delay

A small badge reminds you that viewers watch about 11 seconds behind real time. This matters for attendance codes. See How attendance codes work for why.

The delay is expected

An 11 second gap between your screen and theirs is normal. It is not a problem with your connection.

If starting fails, just try again

If the stream fails to start, you stay in the green room. You are still connected and still publishing. Click Go Live again to retry.
