Earn RBT PDUs and get your BACB form

RBTs need 12 professional development units (PDUs) every 2-year recertification cycle. On OpenCEU you watch an on-demand PD course, answer the checks, pass a short quiz, and get the official BACB PDU form — completed and signed — the moment you finish.

Set up once, first

Choose RBT as your role and save your name and BACB certification number in Settings. The PDU form is built from these, so they need to be exact. New here? Create your account.

Find an RBT PD course

Open RBT PDUs (also under Topics → RBT PDUs). These are professional development courses made for RBTs — every card shows how many PDUs it's worth. Pick one and open it.

PDUs, not CEUs

CEUs are for BCBAs and BCaBAs. As an RBT you earn PDUs, and they come with the official BACB PD form — not a CEU certificate. OpenCEU keeps the two separate so you always get the right document.

Register, then watch on-demand or join live

Click Register free & watch now. Most RBT PD courses are on-demand, so you can watch on your own schedule — in one sitting or across a few. Your progress is saved.

Some PD events are hosted live

If the PD event you registered for is live instead of a recording, come back to the same link when it starts — the stream plays right there, just like a live CEU event.

Answer the attendance checks

As you watch, attendance checks appear: a 4-digit code flashes at the bottom, then hides and four number buttons appear — tap the number you saw. You'll hear a ding each time so you don't miss one.

Watching a livePD event works the same way, with the checks appearing during the broadcast. Answer every one correct and your PDU form is emailed automatically when the event ends — no separate quiz. If you miss the live session, watch the recording once it's published (if the host makes one available) and take the make-up quiz below instead.

Missed one? Rewind and retry

On-demand PD courses require every check correct. If you miss one, rewind to that part of the video and the check comes back around so you can get it.

Pass the quiz

After the video, take the short comprehension quiz. You need every question correct — if you miss any, review and try again as many times as you need.

Get your official BACB PDU form

Pass the quiz and your “RBT Professional Development: ACE Event” form is filled out and signed by the ACE Coordinator automatically, emailed to you, and saved under Your Library. It's the exact BACB form — nothing custom.

Upload it to your BACB account

To count the PDUs toward recertification: log in to your BACB account, add the professional development, upload this form, and enter the details exactly as they appear on it. That's how the PDUs land on your record.
