Kaitlin Wilder

M. Ed, LBA, BCBA
In 15 years as a BCBA Kaitlin Wilder has never been inside an ABA Clinic or supported a nonverbal human. She’s a “problem” behavior BCBA, beginning as a public school special education teacher supporting students with EBD, then district-wide BCBA in general education, all the while supporting autistic humans and their families in-home & community based ABA therapy. After burning out from the limited reach conventional ABA offers conversational humans, she learned RFT & ACT and became a self-employed life coach of “overwhelmed overachievers”, noticing the “problems” in schools spread much, much farther. She’s dedicated her career championing “ACT is ABA” and teaching BCBAs a naturalistic, human ACT application built & proven in her ABA practice, especially direct work with PDA clients, life coaching experience, parent training, and school consulting in public & innovative education. She wants every BCBA to know the success and relief they can find broadening their scope, career, and life with ACT.
