Clinician to Coach Summit

Turn what you already know into a coaching offer. One day on picking your niche, designing a program that gets results, keeping clients motivated, and expanding into coaching ethically.

You already have the skills to coach. You do not have a clear way in.

Behavior analysts are trained to change behavior, collect data, and teach new skills. That is most of what coaching is. The parts that stall people are rarely the clinical ones.

Who is it for?

You could help almost anyone, so your offer ends up speaking to no one in particular.

What do they get?

You know how to run sessions, but not how to package them into a program people pay for.

Am I allowed to?

You are not sure where coaching ends and behavior-analytic services begin, so you hold off.

SESSION 0159 min

Ethics of Expanding Into Coaching: Assessing Competence & Readiness

Moving into coaching raises real questions about scope, competence, and how you describe your services. You will learn to assess your own readiness, draw a clear line between coaching and behavior-analytic services, set up transparent client agreements, and recognize when a referral is the right call.

Find Your Niche: Defining Your Coaching Specialty and Vision

A coaching offer built for everyone gets bought by no one. This session walks you through identifying the people you are best positioned to help, defining the specific problem you solve for them, and writing a clear vision for the coaching work you want to be known for.

SESSION 031 hr 57 min

Designing Your Results-Focused Coaching Program

Coaching clients buy outcomes, and behavior analysts already know how to design for them. You will define measurable outcomes, break them into target behaviors and milestones, and build data collection and progress review directly into your program so clients can see change as it happens.

Motivation That Sticks: Using ACT + Motivational Interviewing in Coaching

Knowing what to change is rarely the hard part for coaching clients. This session combines Acceptance and Commitment Training with Motivational Interviewing, including reflective listening, eliciting change talk, and values-based committed action, and covers the ethical responsibility to protect client autonomy while you do it.

BONUS WORKSHOP

Want to coach parents? The day closes with a bonus workshop.

Payors and states are asking for more parent participation, and many BCBAs would rather work with parents directly. This 2-CEU workshop closes out the summit with a full coaching curriculum for doing exactly that, included with your registration.

Registration and payment are handled securely by OpenCEU.
